No Two Courses are the Same
It is for this reason that we have become specialists in one-on-one courses, and classes for very small groups, since large group coorses are virtually impossible to personalize. After defining these needs and after carrying out thorough testing to determine the level and starting point, we draw up a Training Program for the approval of the training manager and the personnel directly involved.
Below you will find 15 of the most common types of courses we have been organizing since 2000. It is important to keep in mind that the precise content of these courses changes from one individual to another. Several concrete examples:
The language and techniques of effective presentations have been one of our specialties since the 70s. Our clients represent the many technological and industrial activities that we have come to know very well over the last 29 years in business in Provence.
A telephone operator in a firm which exports its products or services must know the basics to help its customers find the right person in the firm. The goal is friendly, effective communication, understanding key words, and using key expressions in specific telephone contexts. The course is therefore limited in scope and the objective quickly attained.

Example 3
A technician or an engineer must exchange information with his counterpart from another country. This is sometimes a supplier/client relation. Sometimes it is a situation involving two engineers from the same multinational firm, from 2 different continents, who meet each other for the first time.
The basic need in this type of course is often similar, but the particularities of the relationship, and the specific vocabulary involved, are never the same. Our job is not only to define the student's level in English in order to start off on the right foot, but also to help him define those particularities with precision, to ensure the success of his mission.

Personal Linguistic Synchronizer
This philosophy is well illustrated by the Personal Linguistic Synchronizer or "Fiche Individuelle Linguistique" which we have developed with and for our medium and large size company clients. This document harmonizes relations between the participant, his manager, and the training department, and helps ensure that the investments in time and money are made intelligently.
Evolution in the organization of courses
When our school was first founded in 1976, we often taught groups of up to 10 to 12 students. Today, in 2013, most of our courses involve a single student, or a small group of two or three participants.
